NER: As a mining engineer I know the metals & minerals required to build our fossil fuel power plants, the costs to mine them. & the approximate costs of the power generated. The same with solar & wind, where rarer, more expensive & difficult to dispose of metals are required. This 5 minute video is not comprehensible to the Thunbergs of the world, but I know you will understand.
What’s Wrong with Wind and Solar? | PragerU
Are wind, solar, and batteries the magical solutions to all our energy needs? Or do they come with too high a price? Mark Mills, Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute, analyses the true cost — both economic and environmental — of so-called green energy.
NER: Some 573,000 birds are estimated to be killed by wind turbines in the US.
With their 16% share of wind energy there would be 3.5 million birds worldwide.
Many of them are raptors, such majestic birds, but Greenies care nothing for birdlife.
